Matt Kerbel, Global Head of Brand Strategy at Turo, brings nearly two decades of experience building cultural relevance and community for some of today’s most recognizable brands. At AdFest 2025, he’ll join the Fireside Chat Brand Marketing and AI: Representing Your Brand’s Purpose and Values in Changing Times to explore how brands can stay true to their purpose while embracing AI. Drawing on his track record of driving innovative campaigns and partnerships, Kerbel will share perspectives on balancing personalization with responsible storytelling, navigating risks of AI misrepresentation, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration keeps brand values at the forefront.
Matt Kerbel is a leading voice in the fields of brand development and digital marketing. For nearly 20 years, he’s shepherded brands like Turo, Lyft, Call of Duty, and MeUndies to infiltrate culture, cultivate community, drive desirability, and improve consumers’ lives through remarkable products, services, and marketplaces that seek to upend the status quo.
Today, Kerbel guides brand strategy globally for Turo, the world’s leading car rental marketplace (think: Airbnb for cars). He’s well-regarded for spearheading innovative campaigns, methods, and partnerships, and, over the past couple of years, drove efforts to see Turo collaborate with the likes of Netflix, The Jonas Brothers, NBA star Tyrese Maxey, the Michelin Guide, and others.
A LinkedIn Top Voice, Kerbel was recognized in 2024 by WSJ as a Marketer To Watch. Professionally, besides his day job, Kerbel is an Advisor to early-stage challenger brands, and a Guest Lecturer at universities across the nation (including USC and the University of Illinois) on consumer behavior and brand management.
Residing in the Bay Area, Kerbel is a proud native of Canada, father, leader, coach, and friend, and loves nothing more than helping others and traveling the globe with his partner and two sons.

I totally agree—most “free” design tools are either limited or leave a watermark, which ruins the professional look. I was frustrated with that until I found InvitationMaker.net. What I liked most is that you get full access to high-quality templates without hidden restrictions, which makes it perfect for creating flawless invitations for both personal and business events.
